A family-owned precision manufacturer with 60+ years in business is seeking an experienced CNC Mazak Turning Machinist to join their team in Menomonee Falls. This is a 1st shift position with a flexible start time and a stable, established work environment.
About the Shop
This is a low-quantity job shop serving industries including robotics, railroad, and food/medical. Most runs are 1–24 pieces with parts that generally fit in your hand. If you thrive on variety and take pride in precision work, this is the environment for you.
What You'll Do
- Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC turning centers
- Program using Mazatrol conversational programming at the control
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Work independently and see jobs through from setup to finished part
What You Need
- Hands-on Mazak turning center experience — required
- Mazatrol conversational programming — required
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Ability to work independently in a job shop environment
What You Get
- 1st shift — flexible start between 6–7 AM, done as early as 2:30 PM
- $30–$36/hr depending on experience
